Rosepetal — Network
Network configuration of Rosepetal deployments.

Our solution is specifically designed for industrial environments where safety, OT/IT segmentation, and continuous operation are non-negotiable requirements.

Rosepetal is structured in three blocks:
- Rosepetal Controller (edge), in plant, for production operation.
- Rosepetal Platform (cloud), for datasets, labeling and training.
- Rosepetal Meta (cloud), for monitoring, auditing and operational management.
Under normal operation, the images captured by the vision system can: (1) remain on-site for real-time inference in the Controller, or (2) be sent to the cloud for storage and further training, depending on the data policy agreed with the customer. This separation allows the plant to maintain its local decision logic (low latency) without depending on constant connectivity or access.
The architecture minimizes cloud-edge coupling and contemplates degraded/offline mode with local caching, so that operation is not stopped by a network outage:

Contents
Network setup with standard hardware — Internal network of the standard project equipment (AIS rack: router, switch, Rosepetal Controller, Panel PC and cameras), with the reference addressing scheme and design criteria.
IT configuration for remote access — What the client's IT team needs to allow for operation and remote support without exposing the plant network: connection options (managed VPN with Tailscale/AnyDesk, traditional WireGuard VPN, 4G), required outbound ports and domains, security model and operational governance.
